When it comes to losing weight most of us have no idea the right combinations of food to feed our body to fuel our bodies properly. So we end eliminating entire food groups (like carbs), we end up eating way too much protein for our bodies (meat is hard on the digestive system, we end up eating so called diet food (aka 100 calorie snack packs) that are full of sugar which leads to major fluctuations of your glycemic levels (blood sugar) which lead to cravings and end up leading us to want even more!
We deprive ourselves of our favorite things which makes us want them even more! I mean how many times have you gone on a diet and all that you can think about is pizza or chocolate!! What if I told you to quit depriving yourself it only leads to failure!!!
For so many years I was that person!! Food even had points to me!! If I had enough points in a day for the cookies you bet I was eating them with no real realization what it was doing to my body, my metabolism, etc..
It’s a crazy thing when you eat healthy your body starts functioning better!! Who knew!! (yes a little sarcasm!!) When we fuel our bodies with the proper foods are metabolism actually works!! And guess what we lose weight, start feeling better, have more energy, and so much more!!
You are being proactive in your health not waiting until the day you get sick to do something about it, because guess what being sick is EXPENSIVE!! Do something now to prevent that!!
